Level the area with a 1 inch layer of leveling sand. Establish a slope away from the house to provide proper drainage.

Following the design on your planning grid, fit together stones to desired shape.

Sweep masonry sand over your completed patio to fill in gaps and increase long-term stability. Edges can be left natural or cut.
